Balloon Event Ops Privacy
Balloon Event Ops is a separate event-operations application owned and operated by Sagebrush Building Automation LLC. It does not read or copy a Pilot's personal Crew Call roster, Contacts, emergency information, or waiver records.
Information used
For Event operations, the service stores the Event name and schedule; staff name, mobile phone number, position, roles, and login record; and Pilot name, mobile phone number, and aircraft N-number. When a Pilot or Event uses Registration & Operations, the Pilot may also store an address, Pilot certificate number and rating, insurance details and expiration, medical expiration when applicable, balloon make, model, size, annual date, registration expiration, and private document images or PDFs. It also stores operational messages, delivery and acknowledgment status, and session-specific propane results.
Pilot profile and Event sharing
A Pilot's reusable profile and documents are private to that Pilot account. Balloon Event Ops does not give one Event access merely because another Event received the same information. The Pilot must authorize each participating Event separately. At submission, the service creates a frozen Event-specific copy so later profile edits do not silently change the Event's reviewed record. A Pilot may turn off reuse for future Events at any time.
Purpose
This information is used only to provide Event access, manage authorized registration review, report document dates, send Event communications, record responses, operate the propane checklist, protect accounts, and maintain an operational audit history. Balloon Event Ops does not sell personal information or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Mobile information and consent
Mobile phone information, text-message opt-in data, and consent records are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging and infrastructure providers process phone numbers and message content only as needed to operate and deliver Balloon Event Ops communications.
Sharing and retention
Only authorized Organizer and Balloonmeister leadership for the same Event can review that Event's submitted Pilot registration packages. Event records remain isolated from other Events. Information may be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the service, its users, or public safety. Retention is limited to the Event's operating, security, and record-keeping needs.
Account deletion
A signed-in Pilot can delete the permanent Pilot account from the Account page. Deletion removes the sign-in, reusable Pilot profile, saved balloons, private profile documents, device alerts, and active Event connections. A participating Event may retain the frozen registration package the Pilot previously authorized, along with its roster, signed waiver, acknowledgment, and operational records when required for Event administration, safety history, or legal record-keeping.
Choices
Recipients may reply STOP to stop Event text messages, START to resume after opting out, and HELP for assistance. Account and data questions can also be directed to the Organizer who provided the Event access credentials or to support@ballooneventops.com.
